Model Kamryn Renae saved from Mount Whitney by helicopter

An OnlyFans model found herself in a precarious situation while attempting to climb the Sierra Nevada Mountains and required a helicopter rescue.

Camryn Renae shared a video on Instagram discussing her journey as she starts her hike from Mexico to Canada, specifically focusing on Mt. Whitney, the tallest peak in the U.S., standing at 14,505 feet.

In the video, she prepares for her challenging hike, capturing moments along the way. It’s noteworthy that Renae has limited mountain-climbing experience, having scaled a smaller mountain just once before.

As she trekked, she came across a stream and decided to fill her water bottles, sharing the experience on camera.

However, the mood shifted when she revealed that she fell ill while making her ascent. Choosing to stop, she set up her tent on a cliff about two miles from the summit, hoping for a quick recovery.

Unfortunately, her condition deteriorated. She began vomiting and found herself unable to descend the mountain.

In a state of distress, she called for help, though it’s unclear who she reached out to. Fortunately, a group of hikers discovered her the following day and assisted her in getting off the mountain.

The video transitions from her in a tent to her being airlifted in a helicopter, strapped to a stretcher. “Yeah, I had to get off the mountain in a helicopter,” she recounts. “I was taken to the hospital for tests.”

At the hospital, it emerged that she had contracted an illness from what she termed a “water source” during her climb.

Comments on her post varied, with some expressing concern and others speculating about the nature of her illness, debating whether it was from contaminated water or altitude sickness.

One commenter noted, “I wonder if you got sick from the water. It sounds more like altitude sickness, especially since it’s your first high-altitude climb.” Another advised, “If you’re feeling ill at a high altitude, descend immediately! That’s the only way to feel better. I’m glad you’re okay!”

Three days later, Renae posted another photo on her blog showing improvement since her ordeal on the mountain, with the caption “Trail diva.”

The Inyo County Sheriff’s Office has been contacted for further comments regarding the incident.
