Erica Kirk Addresses Heckler at Turning Point USA Summit

During the Women’s Leadership Summit hosted by Turning Point USA, Erica Kirk captivated the audience even when faced with a heckler attempting to disrupt her speech.

Amidst chants from an off-camera woman claiming, “Erica Kirk protects pedophiles!” the CEO encouraged the crowd at the San Antonio Marriott River Center to rely on their faith in God. A video of the incident circulated online.

Initially startled by the outburst, Ms. Kirk, 37, quickly shifted to a mild amusement before returning to her message, stating, “It’s important to remember that happiness comes and goes, and I hope you find it,” directing her words toward the heckler.

The audience responded enthusiastically, applauding and expressing their support, with shouts of, “Erika, I love you!” filling the room.

After a couple of interruptions, the heckler was escorted away from the venue.

“This is an essential moment because loyalty gives life meaning. We should pray for our enemies and those who feel their lives lack purpose,” she reflected. “Pray for those who persecute you,” she emphasized, without providing further details on who she considered the true enemy.

In a speech lasting about 17 minutes, Kirk also paid tribute to her late husband, Charlie Kirk, and noted Turning Point USA’s 14th anniversary.

While denouncing feminism, she urged the audience of women—who paid between $50 and $300 for tickets—to embrace conservative values surrounding family and marriage.

“We weren’t meant to be alone. The Bible indicates that men and women are designed to support and uplift each other. That’s God’s intention. Feminism, at its core, often sees traits that define womanhood as challenges rather than blessings,” Kirk stated passionately.

Despite a recent incident where a man was arrested for making alarming online threats against Kirk, the annual summit continued as planned through the weekend.

The individual, Jacob Wenske, 26, allegedly made disturbing comments about targeting the venue, expressing intentions to be her “personal valet.” He now faces two felony charges related to making terrorist threats and instilling public fear.
