Simone Biles Shares Disturbing Experience on Instagram

Olympic champion Simone Biles opened up on Saturday about a frightening situation she faced, stating that she “almost died” in a mysterious Instagram post.

While Biles provided only vague details about the incident in her Instagram Story, she didn’t elaborate much, leaving her followers with questions.

Biles mentioned, “I’m not typically one to share personal experiences because privacy is so valued these days, but, well, there weren’t supposed to be any near-death experiences this week.”

She described the ordeal as one of the scariest moments in her life, especially since her husband, Jonathan, had gone to Indianapolis for practice. “I’ve been resting in bed this week,” she shared. “I’ll explain everything eventually, but… a big shoutout to my close friends who checked in, visited, and even sent flowers.”

Biles’ husband, Jonathan Owens, plays safety for the Indianapolis Colts. They have been married since 2023, but their busy schedules mean they occasionally spend time apart. Since entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2018, he’s played for five different teams.

The couple first met in 2019 when he was with the Houston Texans. They are currently building a new house together in Texas. After his time with the Texans, Owens also played for the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears, and now the Colts.

In a previous update last November, Biles revealed that she had undergone three plastic surgeries.

During that same month, she shared on TikTok, “I’ve had three surgeries, and two of them were pretty transformative.”
