Trump Makes History at NBA Finals
On Monday night, President Donald Trump made a notable appearance at Madison Square Garden, becoming the first sitting president to watch an NBA Finals game.
He attended Game 3, where the New York Knicks faced off against the San Antonio Spurs. Trump was accompanied by his granddaughter, Kai Trump, son-in-law Jared Kushner, and White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino, among others. The suite was shared with James Dolan, the owner of Madison Square Garden and the Knicks, along with Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin.
Trump, as Dolan’s guest, announced his attendance during a press conference in the Oval Office on June 4. When asked about Dolan’s invitation, he simply said, “The answer is yes. He invited me, so I’m going.”
Passionate about sports, Trump is known for attending various events, including UFC matches, college football games, NFL games, and key golf tournaments.
