NBA Commissioner defends President Trump’s Finals attendance amid mixed reaction from fans

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver expressed support for President Donald Trump’s presence at Game 3 of the NBA Finals in New York, referring to him as a “true Knicks fan.” The reaction from fans, captured during a segment on “Fox & Friends,” was mixed, with attendees responding with a mixture of cheers and boos. The segment also touched on the significant security measures in place that caused delays for fans entering the arena. It highlighted Trump’s tendency to spark political discussions at major sporting events.

Meanwhile, Knicks fans are still buzzing about their team’s recent victory over the Spurs, but some are finding humor in Clyde Frazier’s unique approach to eating fries during the game.

One fan humorously compared Clyde’s fry-eating method to Mark Zuckerberg’s awkward attempt to drink water during a hearing. Clyde seems to have a knack for unintentionally making headlines for his food choices. In a past game, the Knicks legend was seen eating fries from a cup without using his hands, prompting some playful speculation about his motives.

Commentator Mike Breen suggested that perhaps Clyde’s goal was to avoid getting grease on his well-tailored suit; after all, it’s surprising to see someone like Clyde munching on fries in public. This time, however, a video showed his fingers perched on the fries, raising eyebrows about his previous eating style.

In a more candid moment during a past interview, he mentioned maintaining his weight consistently over the years, joking about his diet choices without diving into specific details about fries. “I’ve always stayed around 205 pounds,” Clyde noted, attributing his physique to healthy eating habits formed in the 60s and 70s—though he still indulges in fries occasionally.

It might seem unusual for some to tackle fries as one might a chicken wing, but given Clyde’s vibrant health at 81, maybe there’s something to his method. He shared that his daily routine includes running in place and doing yoga—though he still enjoys a few treats, like pumpkin seeds and apples.

While we may chuckle at Clyde’s fry antics, it does prompt a thought: if these legends can approach their food this way, perhaps we should consider switching it up a bit ourselves, though maybe with a little more caution.
