Big Dom Clears the Air on Eagle’s Rumors

Big Dom is putting an end to the speculation surrounding the Eagles. During a segment on “Good Morning Football” this Tuesday, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo shared insights from Dom DiSandro, a senior advisor to general manager Howie Roseman. DiSandro firmly stated that the unverified rumors regarding AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts’ relationship are completely unfounded.

“He was incredibly clear about his stance,” Garafolo said, emphasizing DiSandro’s conviction. “That story is just nonsense.”

These rumors, which surfaced on social media, linked Brown to an alleged affair involving former Eagle Haason Reddick and a massage therapist in 2023. Reportedly, Brown claimed he wasn’t aware of Reddick’s involvement and suggested that Hurts, who knew, chose not to inform him, leading to a feeling of betrayal and rumored tension in the locker room.

However, none of these claims have been backed by credible sources. While Hurts and Brown have maintained a close bond since their college days, whispers of discord have been buzzing for nearly a year now. Brown acknowledged that their friendship isn’t as tight as it once was, but he insists there are no underlying problems between them.

“Actually, there’s still a lot of love,” Brown noted last Thursday on Carmelo Anthony’s podcast, insisting that he deeply cares for Hurts and wishes him success. “I never understood why our friendship drew so much attention in the sports world… sure, we might not have been as close, but we still supported each other and pushed ourselves.”

On June 1, the Eagles executed a trade, sending Brown to the Patriots in exchange for a 2028 first-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick, allowing Brown to reunite with Patriots coach Mike Vrabel, with whom he had previously spent three seasons at the Titans.

Looking ahead, the Eagles plan to build on their 11-6 record from the 2025 season, which ended in a loss to the 49ers in the wild-card round. The new season kicks off on September 13 against the Commanders.
