New Lawsuit Against Sean “Diddy” Combs
In a recent lawsuit filed in California, Sean “Diddy” Combs, the well-known music mogul currently incarcerated, is accused of sexually assaulting a child star. The allegations claim that his actions were profoundly inappropriate and beyond civilized behavior.
At age 56, Combs is serving a 50-month prison sentence stemming from prostitution-related charges that followed a scandalous trial over eight weeks in New York City. This trial opened a window into his controversial habits, which included drug-fueled parties and dubious sexual activities.
The new lawsuit involves a child actor who uses the name John Doe. He alleges that during a networking event in the Hollywood Hills in May 2007, Combs sexually assaulted him. According to ABC News, parts of the complaint describe Combs’ behavior as “outrageous,” intended to inflict emotional distress, which, the plaintiff claims, it indeed did.
“This assault was so extreme that it exceeded the bounds of decency and could not be tolerated in a civilized society,” the lawsuit states.
The alleged incident reportedly took place when Combs invited the actor into a back room under the pretense of discussing future opportunities related to a project Combs was working on. The actor claims that after consuming some drinks provided by Combs, he began to feel disoriented. That’s when Combs allegedly began to touch him inappropriately.
The complaint further alleges that Combs removed the plaintiff’s clothing and engaged in sexual acts, claiming that the minor was subjected to oral copulation while Combs touched himself. Notably, the lawsuit doesn’t specify the actor’s exact age, only noting that he was under 18 during the alleged incident.
Combs’ lawyer, Judah Engelmayer, has dismissed these new allegations as “false and ridiculous,” suggesting that the actor is merely seeking financial gain at the urging of personal injury attorneys. Engelmayer asserts that Combs has never assaulted anyone and believes these claims, like many others, will be disproven in time.
Since his arrest in 2024, Combs has been entangled in numerous lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct, violence, and related offenses involving various individuals, including minors. He was convicted of two Mann Act charges, which make it illegal to transport someone across state lines for prostitution, each carrying a potential penalty of up to ten years. However, he was acquitted of the more severe charges related to racketeering and sex trafficking.
