Spencer Pratt reacts as the vote count for the LA mayoral election goes on

Chaos in Los Angeles Mayoral Race as Vote Counting Continues

The Los Angeles mayoral race, already fraught with tension, has taken a more chaotic turn as the counting of votes extends. Reality TV figure Spencer Pratt has jumped into the fray, stirring up controversy with pointed comments and lingering doubts about the election outcomes.

“Are you done counting yet?” Pratt tweeted on Thursday as officials continued their vote tally, leaving results in a state of uncertainty.

Although Pratt didn’t concede or formally contest the election results, he was seen out with his wife, Heidi Montag, and was escorted from the premises the same day.

He stepped outside wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with Montag’s face. When asked by a reporter whether he believed there was voter fraud or what he thought had transpired, Pratt simply shrugged, offering no further commentary.

Initially supported by former President Donald Trump, Pratt had a strong showing on election night, even leading City Councilor Nitya Raman by over eight points for a while. However, as mail-in ballots—historically leaning Democratic—were tallied, his lead diminished.

Current numbers indicate Karen Bass has garnered 291,397 votes, Raman has 246,333 votes, and Pratt has 216,783 votes. With around 99% of expected votes counted and an estimated 7,000 still outstanding, the dynamics of the race remain in a slow, suspenseful flux.

Election Integrity Concerns Grow

Raman eventually triumphed over Pratt and is set to compete against incumbent Mayor Karen Bass in the November runoff.

As the counting process has slowed, broader allegations of election fraud have emerged. Bill Esseri, the first assistant U.S. attorney for the Central District of California, urged Californians to report any evidence of voting irregularities, emphasizing the potential for prosecution.

While Pratt hasn’t outright rejected the results, his posts on social media suggest he harbors doubts, hinting at issues potentially involving the homeless community.

Meanwhile, tensions have ramped up further after a homeless individual from Skid Row claimed in a video that he felt pressured to sign multiple registration forms by someone supposedly linked to a “political partner.” He alleged that his signature was forged and that he was offered money in exchange for providing voter details. This incident has only deepened the ongoing debate as the count continues toward final certification.
