Stunning DOJ report: The crime rates for undocumented immigrants are genuinely astonishing

Recent statistics from the Department of Justice indicate that the majority of violent crimes committed by non-citizens in the U.S. are linked to illegal immigrants rather than those residing legally. This insight comes from Blaze TV host Allie Beth Stuckey and her brother, Justin Simmons, who serves as the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Texas. They argue that this situation warrants urgent attention.

“A few weeks back, the government released data for 2025. It revealed that among the 66,000 individuals sentenced across the country, 28,000 were non-citizens,” Simmons explains. He further clarifies that not all of these non-citizens are illegal; many are resident aliens with legal status.

“Out of those 28,000, about 91.6% were indeed illegal aliens,” he points out. Most of them were charged with immigration offenses such as illegal entry or reentry.

However, Simmons notes that the figures also include a wider range of offenders, including those involved in alien smuggling and various types of immigration fraud. “Context is crucial when interpreting these numbers,” he asserts.

This, he believes, underscores the critical nature of initiatives aimed at halting illegal immigration. “Just think about how much money we could save if we didn’t have to detain all those individuals who broke U.S. laws and showed a blatant disregard for them upon entering the country,” he adds.

Stuckey emphasizes that the charges include serious crimes like murder, manslaughter, sexual abuse, and child sexual exploitation. “The overwhelming majority of violent crimes among non-citizens are by illegal immigrants,” she contends.

She goes on to state, “The most heinous acts—stalking, harassment, kidnapping, drug trafficking—are predominantly perpetrated by illegal immigrants. This really highlights the severity of the issue.”

In her view, it’s not just a legal concern, but a human rights violation as well.
