Progressives are attempting to cancel comedian Nate Bargatze for his actions on Sunday.

Recently, many on the left expressed their displeasure regarding comedian Nate Bargatze’s actions on Sunday.

Bargatze attended a UFC event at the White House, joining Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert Kennedy Jr. and his wife, Cheryl Hines, for photos during the venue’s 250th anniversary celebration.

The reaction from some was intense, accusing the event of undermining the dignity of the White House and the National Mall. This celebration, which happened to fall on President Trump’s birthday, featured several UFC matches, military flyovers, and even a display involving a bald eagle.

A representative for Bargatze issued a statement about his presence at the event.

“Nate focuses on family-friendly entertainment,” they stated in an email to HuffPost. “Politics isn’t part of his shows, and he’s been an avid UFC fan long before it had political implications.”

In contrast, several left-leaning individuals took to social media to voice their outrage.

“MAGANate Bargatze. I used to love Chick-fil-A, but after learning about the owner’s views, I’ve avoided it for 25 years,” tweeted former Congressman Mo Davis, who mentioned feeling disappointed after realizing Bargatze might not have the best takes. “I had fun @natebargatze until I found out he finds fascism amusing. Sometimes I wish I could still eat Chick-fil-A.”

He continued, “I thought MAGANATE was just a poor act, but now it seems like they’re sincere.”

Another social media user remarked, “I never got how to say Bargatze’s last name properly. Today, I learned it rhymes with Nazi.”

Political commentator Seth Abramson added, “I used to appreciate him, but if you’re unaware of who the Nazis are by now, perhaps you’ve missed the mark. I’m done with him.”

Another user chimed in with even harsher words: “Screw you, Nate Bargatze! You’re nothing but a MAGA sellout.”

Trump also announced his plans to hold a significant rally following a concert celebrating Independence Day after various artists backed out of the show.

Bargatze has become quite the name, reportedly being one of the most profitable comedians today, with his first feature film in the works and plans for a multi-million-dollar family theme park named “Nateland.”
