Ted Cruz and a Prominent Democratic Congressman Connected to a Hidden Group Discussing Sex, Cults, and World War III: Report

Secret Society Linked to Politicians and Billionaire

A report released Tuesday reveals that Republican Senator Ted Cruz from Texas and Democratic Representative Jim Himes of Connecticut, the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, are among several influential individuals associated with a secret society co-founded in 2006 by billionaire Peter Thiel. This information comes from internal documents leaked from the Dialogue Group.

The Dialogue Group operates as an exclusive, invitation-only retreat that gathers U.S. and foreign government officials along with tech elites from Silicon Valley for private meetings each year. Topics discussed at these retreats range from personal inquiries like “How’s your sex life?” to broader themes such as “Building a cult” and “Surviving World War III,” according to Wired.

The leaked documents point to what Wired describes as an “unusual concentration of power.” The organization’s website directory reveals the names of two current officials from the Trump administration, two U.S. senators, and members of what is often referred to as the “PayPal Mafia.” Among the attendees are a former Middle East intelligence chief, the current ambassador to the U.S., and various founders and executives from some of the country’s largest surveillance and data brokerage companies.

The documentation also includes Gen. Alexus Grinkevitch, who became NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Europe and commander of U.S. European Command in 2025, indicating he has participated since 2021. Cruz’s name was listed alongside Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Oren Hoffman, the Dialogue’s chairman.

The report indicates that Cruz chairs the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee, a significant body that oversees the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), while Himes’s name appears next to U.S. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll and billionaire Joe Lonsdale, co-founder of AI surveillance company Palantir, which maintains various contracts with the U.S. government.

Interestingly, while Himes serves as the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, which oversees agencies that work with Palantir, there yet remains some ambiguity about whether Cruz and Himes are long-time members, occasional guests, or simply have just been invited once.

Neither Cruz nor Himes’s offices responded to requests for comments. According to Wired, the next retreat is set to take place from August 12 to 16 near Dublin, Ireland.
