A Penthouse Pet facing theft charges in a case involving a wealthy older man has shared personal insights about her relationship with his fiancé, Stephen Klubeck, as well as details from her past that include experiences of abuse and an attraction to older men.
Adva Lavie, 28, and Klubeck, 64, disclosed aspects of their relationship through documents that were recently unsealed in her felony case. These legal filings include a psychological evaluation by Dr. Robert Brody, which Lavie is using in an attempt to qualify for a diversion program instead of prison.
Dr. Brody mentioned, “During my conversation with Mr. Klubeck, he showed genuine concern for Ms. Lavie.” In return, Lavie expressed a desire to deepen their bond, indicating an intention for a monogamous relationship—something she claims she hasn’t experienced previously.
The psychiatrist conducted three long interviews, totaling around 15.5 hours, to prepare his assessment. Within this evaluation, he detailed Lavie’s troubling history of abuse at adult parties and an abusive marriage with her first husband, Edan Ives, known as “Big Nick,” who had proposed an open relationship.
Shortly after their marriage began, Ives suggested a setup where he could be intimate with another woman alongside Lavie. This led her to agree to a threesome in 2022, seeking relief from their intense physical relationship.
According to the assessment, they began exploring potential partners through Tinder, and Lavie experimented with drugs like marijuana and ecstasy for the first time. She recounted, “It was a constant cycle of drug use. I often don’t remember much from that year.” During this period, despite taking precautions against sexually transmitted infections, she tested positive for chlamydia and discovered her ex-husband’s infidelities.
Earlier this year, Ives communicated with the judge, highlighting their unconventional relationship and asking for the removal of Lavie’s ankle monitor, stating they are a non-monogamous couple looking to start a family. It’s worth mentioning that their divorce was finalized in March.
The assessment also revealed Lavie’s entry into modeling through an agent, which eventually led her to engage in adult films, with earnings of up to $20,000 per shoot.
Her “modeling work” often included attending explicit parties, where she was frequently victimized while under the influence of various substances, including marijuana and cocaine. Dr. Brody described the alarming environment at these gatherings, detailing numerous degrading acts women were coerced into under the influence.
Furthermore, court documents indicate that while Lavie worked as a $1,000-a-night escort in Las Vegas, she faced abuse, including being forced to use cocaine by her father. Presently, she is reportedly undergoing treatment.
Lavie and Klubeck became engaged in February during a trip to Las Vegas, with plans to wed in Israel that June, although these plans were later modified.
Klubeck, previously known for making donations to discredit a political opponent, is also dealing with multiple felonies related to witness tampering in Lavie’s case. One of the key witnesses is an older man from whom Lavie allegedly stole after meeting him on a “sugar daddy” website.
Lavie now faces a ten-year prison sentence. In her evaluations, she expressed a lifelong attraction to older men, noting, “One of her first crushes” was her high school teacher. The assessment suggests that her childhood experiences have played a significant role in shaping this attraction.
Charged with six felonies—including grand larceny and identity theft—Lavie is accused of meeting various older men on dating apps and then stealing from them.
As for her ongoing legal journey, Lavie, who is monitored via an ankle device, has employed several strategies in a bid to avoid incarceration. However, she has consistently breached court orders, including traveling and making contact with witnesses, though the judge has hesitated to impose jail time.
Her conversion hearing is set for August 10 in a Los Angeles courtroom.
