It seems like Jameis Winston is having an absolute blast during the 2026 World Cup.
The backup quarterback for the Giants was spotted at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, where he watched Norway defeat Ivory Coast 2-1 in the Round of 32. He really leaned into the spirit of the occasion, donning a full Viking outfit complete with a horned helmet and a faux fur cape as Norway celebrated its first-ever appearance in the World Cup finals.
Before the match, Winston led a vibrant “Viking Row” celebration outside the stadium, which seemed to ignite festivities among Norwegian fans in various host cities, including Times Square. It was quite a scene.
The celebrations didn’t stop there; the Norwegian team has taken to celebrating with fans after each win as well.
In his offseason role as a World Cup correspondent for Fox Sports, Winston has engaged with fans in all sorts of ways. He’s danced and sung with Colombian supporters, handed out jerseys to American fans, and even paraded around with a goat named Wesley dressed like Lionel Messi. He even assisted Japanese fans in cleaning up trash in the stands after their match with the Netherlands ended in a draw.
Winston embraced a tradition that started during Japan’s first World Cup in 1998. He also enjoyed a ride on the Oranje bus, mingling with Dutch supporters, who are known for being one of the liveliest fan groups in the sport.
Meanwhile, on the NFL side of things, Winston is starting his second season with the Giants as the backup to Jackson Dart.
