Portugal’s national soccer team has made it to the finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, despite their somewhat shaky performance during the group stage, where they ended with just one win and two draws.
Still, the team is brimming with talent, and it’s hard to imagine that they could keep the iconic Cristiano Ronaldo off the field for too long.
One of Ronaldo’s biggest fans at this World Cup is likely his longtime girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez.
Rodriguez, who is well-known as one of the most famous soccer WAGS globally, has garnered over 74 million followers on Instagram. She’s definitely made a name for herself outside of Ronaldo’s fame. Recently, she shared a lively post on Instagram before Portugal’s match, showing herself dancing on the beach in gray tracksuits, which I think might be linked to her clothing brand, mimoa. It appears she was modeling some of her own designs in that dance video.
This couple has been together since 2016 and became engaged in August 2025. They have two children together, and she also plays a key role in raising Ronaldo’s three other kids.
While Ronaldo has only managed to score once so far in the World Cup, it will be crucial for him to find the net again, especially as Portugal gears up to take on Croatia in the Round of 32 on July 2.
Ultimately, winning the FIFA World Cup remains a key goal for Ronaldo. If he manages to accomplish this feat, it’s likely Rodriguez will be among the first to celebrate.
