New York City – Making New Year's resolutions may be a tradition for Americans, but so is giving up on them.
“I haven't made any New Year's resolutions or anything,” Ash told Fox News. “At this age, I have created a lot of works, but many of them have failed.
“I think if you live your life to the fullest, healthy, kind, happy, you don't have to worry about the rest,” she continued.
My biggest resolutions for 2024 are to improve my fitness, finances, and mental health. Forbes Health Research found. But Americans told FOX News they've done away with some of the cliches this year: quit the gym, stop eating and deprioritizing sleep.

“Jim, it took me a day to quit,” Brenley, from Arizona, told Fox News. “I couldn't work out. I was in and out.”
Matthew, a South Carolina native, was a little more determined.
“I couldn't prioritize reading the Bible as much as I wanted to,” he says. “I gave up around March. That's why I failed.”

Kathy from Arizona also quickly gave up on her goal.
“I said I was only going to go out twice a week, but that only lasted until January,” she said.

Sophia said she decided to go to bed early.
“I haven't gone to bed early yet,” Sophia told Fox News.

But Omar's goal was simply to have a more optimistic outlook.
“I'm just trying to look at life positively, avoid negative thoughts, and live my life in peace,” Omar told Fox News. She is “enjoying every moment with family, friends, and her wife.”
