CNN Broadcasts Passionate Gay Kiss Immediately After New Year’s Ball Drop

CNN aired a passionate gay kiss shortly after the New Year's Ball went down on Monday.

Wearing big Planet Fitness hats, the two men locked lips in a lengthy show of affection as the countdown to 2024 ended on “New Year's Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen.”

Social media users had mixed reactions to the gay kiss. Some expressed excitement about the scene.

“CNN's first shot after the ball drops looks like an interracial gay kiss. This outrage will be funny,” one user commented.

Another commenter wrote: “Gay people watch straight people kissing on TV every day.” “Get over it and get used to it.”

“I love the fact that the first thing that happens on CNN's New Year's event is two gay guys making out on live camera,” said a third user. I have written. “They looked at each other and ate each other out as if it wasn't a normal kiss.”

Other social media users were unimpressed, with some expressing concern for children in the audience.

“When the ball dropped to mark 2024, all the kids in America watched two gay men kiss,” one user wrote. “Every channel broadcasting the ball drop, including Fox News, CNN, and CBS, simultaneously aired a scene that most kids have yet to experience.”

Another user commented, “The gay guy who kissed midnight on CNN was definitely a paid actor.''

“CNN decided to ring in the new year with 20 minutes of gay innuendos, gay references, and this fun kiss that was clearly not carefully scripted,” a third user wrote.
