University of Michigan alumni across the country rejoiced after the Wolverines defeated Alabama in the Rose Bowl and clinched a ticket to the national championship game.
Among its alumni is NFL legend Tom Brady, who couldn't contain his excitement as he watched the University of Michigan's defense make a huge stop in overtime to win the game. Ta.
Brady filmed himself shirtless watching the final play of the game and posted it to his Instagram Story.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion yelled, “Let's go!” after the Wolverines' defense stopped a rushing attempt on fourth-and-goal from 3 yards.
Brady continued to scream in excitement and turned to the camera to reveal his naked torso and part of his lower face.
He also captioned the video, “OMFG Go Blue.”
Monday's College Football Playoff semifinal victory was a significant moment for the University of Michigan football program.
This will be the school's first chance to compete for a national title since 1997.
The Wolverines went undefeated that year, winning the Rose Bowl 21-16 and finishing the season with a share of the national championship.
Brady was a member of the 1997 team and served as Brian Griese's backup.
Brady played at the University of Michigan from 1995 to 1999, appearing in 29 games and throwing for 4,773 yards and 30 touchdowns.
The former Patriots and Buccaneers QB wasn't the only University of Michigan graduate soaking in the Wolverines' victory Monday night.
Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy was in Pasadena for the Rose Bowl and posted a video to X after winning the $1 million he bet on Michigan to beat Alabama.
The Wolverines will play the winner of the Washington-Texas game next Monday in Houston for the national title.
