“The Golden Bachelor” starring Jerry Turner and “Golden Wedding” with Teresa Nist will be hosted by fan-favorite former contestants.
Susan Knowles, who competed to win Turner's heart along with Nist and 20 other contestants on ABC's hit reality dating series, took to Instagram on Tuesday to preside over the couple's upcoming televised wedding. announced that he would serve as
“I think the secret is out! I'm so excited to be officiating the Golden Wedding!!,” Knowles wrote alongside a photo of herself with Nist and Turner. .

“The happy couple came up with this idea because we got so close during the show,” Nose told Glamor magazine. “Jerry was my friend and now Teresa is my girlfriend. So why not? To tell you the truth, I never asked why. But I'm glad they did. I'm really happy.”
The 72-year-old retired restaurateur and 70-year-old financial services professional are planning to wed on January 4 at a location not yet disclosed. The couple's wedding will be the first on the spin-off series, as Turner was the original Golden Bachelor.

Nose joked to Glamor that this wedding was also her first, as she had never officiated a wedding since dating her groom.

“Until this wedding, I had never kissed the groom,” the 66-year-old told the magazine.
The owner of The Nuptials by Nores is a professional wedding officiant who has been officiating weddings since 2011. Ms. Noles told Glamor that she was especially excited to officiate Turner and Nist's wedding after forming a close bond with them while filming The Golden Bachelor.
“Usually when I host, I ask couples about fun things they do together, because you might not know much about them. But this is different. This is It’s just excessive fun,” she said.

Noles admitted that she expected to feel some anxiety before the live-streamed ceremony. The ceremony will be broadcast on ABC at 8pm ET and streamed on Hulu the next day.
“I hope I don't stumble over my words during the ceremony, but I can get stiff when I'm in front of a lot of people, so I always carry a book with me,” Noles said.
“But the opportunity to do this is very special,” she added. “It's because of the bond between the three of us. And I love doing it for the people I care about.”
The Pennsylvania native was eliminated in Week 5 of the series, but was among the final six contestants. During his time on the series, Noles won the hearts of many viewers with his fun-loving attitude, sense of humor, and friendship with other women.
Fans also pointed out that Nose looked a lot like Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, who surprised the former contestant with a special video message during an episode of “Women Tell All.”

And although Knowles and Turner ultimately did not end up in a romantic relationship, the two were seen enjoying a strong friendship throughout the series. Ms. Nose told Ms. Grammer that she was prepared to reassure Ms. Turner and Ms. Nist if they felt overwhelmed ahead of the ceremony.
“Jerry and Teresa are nervous about how much they have to do in such a short amount of time and are trying to find more time together and start looking at homes,” Knowles said. Ta.
She continued, “There are so many little things to do before the wedding, but I told Teresa, “Your wedding is going to be amazing.Everything has been taken care of from start to finish.'' 'I'll do it.'

Nose told Glamor that the bride is continuing to work in the lead-up to her wedding while promoting the show and planning her new life with Turner. Nist currently works as a senior compliance and operations liaison at her TFS Securities Inc. in Lincroft, New Jersey.
“She's still working, so I actually told her today, 'Teresa, just stop and enjoy this moment. It's going to go by so quickly, you'll blink and you'll want to watch it on TV later.' I just said, “Just watch, but have fun. Make sure to dance with me. Let's have fun at this reception. Just let it all go and be who you are. Be with your friends.'' Noles said.

Noles, who is also a professional makeup and hairstylist, was often seen helping other contestants, including Nist, prepare for their dates with Turner. She told Glamor that while she won't be styling Nist on her wedding day, she's willing to help the bride with any last-minute adjustments.
“I told her if there's anything she doesn't like or wants tweaked, I'll be there,” Noles explained. “I said, 'Just step aside and I'll fix whatever you need.'”
Nose also told Glamor that she was prepared to support Turner, who was expected to be emotional during the wedding. Ms Turner previously admitted that she had a difficult time during her rose ceremony, and was often seen crying after saying goodbye to the contestants.
“During the rose ceremony, when he started crying, I looked around the room and I was like, 'It's okay, it's okay,'” Noles recalled.

“He always said to me, 'Susan, that means so much to me. You brought me back,'” she added. “And I know that at the actual wedding, Jerry is going to cry. He was already saying, 'Susan, you know…' and I said, 'I'm right there, baby. It's okay.' .”

Knowles kept details of Nist's wedding dress a secret, but said the bride's dress was “stunning.”
“She's going to be great,” Noles said. “It's going to be great. It's going to be a show, I'm telling you. Everyone's going to look great.”
Nose told Glamor that while she is currently single, she is open to a relationship if the opportunity arises.

“I wish I could find someone who loves me and accepts my bossy personality,” she told the magazine with a laugh.
“I realized I'm a good catcher. I'm not looking anymore and that's okay,” Noles added. “If it's going to happen, it's going to happen. I love this show and meeting these women. It's been a beautiful, beautiful journey and a life-changing experience.
“And now the wedding is set and I couldn't be more excited. It's going to be sweet and funny and meaningful. It's a little bit of everything and that's what I love about it.”
