Lisa Robertson, wife of Tim Robertson and daughter-in-law of late CBN founder Pat Robertson, passed away on Saturday, December 30, at the age of 69.
Nelson was born March 9, 1954 in Colorado and attended Sweet Briar College, where he founded the Synod.
She met her husband, Tim, after inviting Pat Roberston to be her keynote speaker at the time.According to reports CBN NewsLisa and Tim have been married for 46 years and have five children: Laura, Elizabeth, Willis, Callie, and Abby.
Abby, who works as a reporter for CBN News in Washington, spoke with her mother about motherhood a few years ago.
“I think motherhood is one of the great opportunities God gives women,” Lisa said at the time. “It's work, it's service, and it's a lot of fun. It's how we collaborate with the Lord and see His work.”
Lisa is also remembered by her 15 grandchildren, who called her “Honey.” While she appeared on her The 700 Club on CBN, she hosted a popular segment on her Advent. She is also expecting her 16th grandchild.
“One of the things I love about Advent is that it feels like something given to us by God, because it forces us to stop and reflect and really think about what Christmas is all about. That's when you can start thinking about it,” she explained. within one broadcast segment.
Lisa has also hosted women's Bible studies for decades at the Church of Galilee, which has helped her discover her passion for reminding women of God's wisdom and direction in life. It's done. She then spoke about her own experiences in her book, The Path of Life, and her 2019 700 Club appearance with Pat Robertson.
