Fewer than Half of Americans Think Trump Should Be Disqualified for Jan. 6

A poll released Tuesday found that Democratic-elected judges and state officials were unable to punish former President Trump for his alleged actions related to the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, despite efforts to remove him from office. Despite lacking support from at least half the country, President Joe Biden is expected to make Jan. 6 the center of his re-election campaign, even as Democrats try to keep Trump off the ballot.
