On Tuesday, election integrity group True the Vote defeated a voting group backed by unsuccessful gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, and True the Vote founder Katherine Engelbrecht called it a “legal act.” He called it a “thorough justification” for the

Fair Fight Action, founded by Abrams, was the lead plaintiff in the lawsuit against True the Vote. The runoff elections ultimately resulted in the election of Sens. Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.) and Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.), giving Democrats control of the Senate majority. Local election boards have rejected most of the voter challenges initiated by True the Vote.

“Plaintiffs have not only failed to overcome the fact that their actions did not result in any direct contact with voters or result in a direct eligibility review from the County Board of Elections; There is also no evidence that the defendants' actions caused (or attempted to cause) any cause, and left-leaning U.S. District Judge Steve Jones wrote in his order that “True the Vote” did not attempt to intimidate or coerce voters. It was determined that the evidence was insufficient.
In an email to supporters, Engelbrecht called the ruling “a thoroughgoing vindication.”
“Today's ruling sends a clear message to those who seek to control the course of our country through law and intimidation. The American people will not be silenced,” True the Vote founders continued.
