Matthew McConaughey's genes didn't stand a chance!
The Oscar-winning actor celebrated his daughter Vida's 14th birthday by sharing an adorable photo on social media of the teenager, who bears a striking resemblance to her mother Camila Alves.
take to instagram On Thursday, the “Dallas Buyers Club” actor posted two images of Vida spending time in nature.
McConaughey, 54, captioned the image: “Happy birthday to Vida, who didn't give me flowers I didn't pick.”
The father-of-three explained why he posted the day after his actual birthday, January 3.
He further added, “*My mobile device popped out of my pocket during the roller coaster loop for her birthday yesterday so I'm a day late!*”
McConaughey, who also shares sons Levi, 15, and Livingston, 11, with Alves, celebrated Vida's special day with a fun trip to Six Flags in San Antonio, Texas, on Wednesday.
Vida's birthday comes just days after her brother Livingston celebrated his 11th birthday on December 28th.
Proud father McConaughey rushed to social media to celebrate the special occasion, writing: “Double One, we love watching you grow.”
“Thank you Puttin. [sic] There are many smiles on our faces. I love you, Daddy,” the actor captioned a photo of Livingston sitting on his father's lap and smiling.
McConaughey and Alves have kept their children out of the spotlight for years.
However, in July 2023, McConaughey and Alves introduced their eldest son Follow Levi on social media on his 15th birthday.

“Happy birthday to Levi Alves McConaughey,” his father said in a joint Instagram post with Alves.
“Can you believe it?” she said, turning to her husband. “I'm only 15,” he replied, adding: One of the gifts we give you is, yes, to allow you to participate in the world of social media today. ”
The 'The Gentlemen' star revealed that the couple had been talking about when he would celebrate getting an account since he was 12 years old.
McConaughey and Alves married in June 2012 after dating for six years.
