Influential conservative group launches massive ad and grassroots blitz on behalf of Haley

Fox's first appearance – Americans for Prosperity, the political arm of the influential and well-funded network of fiscal conservatives founded by the billionaire Koch brothers, is targeting Nikki Haley for the Republican presidential nomination. campaign is launching a new phase of major advertising and grassroots efforts.

The ad blitz, first unveiled Friday on Fox News, includes mailers, digital ads and connected TV spots that will air starting this week in the early voting states of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina. The campaign also targets four of the 15 states where presidential nominating contests will be held on March 5, known as Super Tuesday: Arkansas, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia.

AFP Action, which pledged to spend tens of millions of dollars to help Republicans endorse Haley and oust former President Donald Trump in late November, has initially committed $27 million to this new wave in the ongoing campaign. He says that he is investing a lot of money into the project.

“Poll after poll shows that Trump is the weakest candidate against Joe Biden,” the group's ad narrator said.

War of words between Haley and DeSantis reaches climax

A number of recent polls on the 2024 presidential election show Haley leading President Biden by a larger margin than President Trump in a hypothetical general election showdown.

“Nikki Haley is beating Biden by double digits. She's beating Biden in battleground states that Trump lost in 2020. That's clear. Nikki Haley is beating Biden by a landslide, and she's beating Biden in swing states that Trump lost in 2020. He will be the strongest candidate to help elect the candidate,” the narrator added. “She is a proven conservative warrior. With President Trump's criminal trial and a liberal media trying to oust him, our country cannot risk another four years of a Biden-Harris administration.”

Trump remains the leading candidate for the Republican nomination, aiming for a third consecutive year in the White House.

Last spring and summer, Trump made history as the first former or current president to be charged with a crime. Mr. Trump's four indictments, including one in federal court in Washington, D.C., and one in Fulton County, Georgia, on charges of trying to overturn his 2020 presidential election loss, have boosted his support among Republican voters. Just increase it.

But Haley, a former two-term South Carolina governor who later served as ambassador to the United Nations in the Trump administration, has gained significant momentum in recent months. He has caught up with DeSantis in national polls and the latest Iowa polls, has surpassed him in New Hampshire and narrowed the gap with Trump in the Granite State, where the primary will be held eight days after the caucuses.

AFP Action's backing has been enjoyed by Haley, who has been running a lean campaign until recent weeks, thanks to significant support from Never Back Down, a super PAC affiliated with DeSantis. It instantly gave grassroots action and organizational power.

The electability claims made by AFP Action in a new blitz echo what Haley has repeatedly shown on the campaign trail and which the super PAC supporting her has spotlighted in ads. There is. As part of her stump speech, Ms. Haley emphasized that her polling suggests she has a better case for a win over Mr. Biden than Mr. Trump.

“Nikki Haley is the strongest possible candidate for the Republican Party to take on Joe Biden, and no other candidate comes close. Nikki Haley will boost Republicans in the polls.” said AFP Action Director Nathan Nascimento in a statement on Fox News.

But President Trump's political trajectory downplays that effort.

“Americans seeking prosperity have already spent millions of dollars in this primary just to see President Donald Trump's lead grow,” said President Trump's press secretary, Caroline Leavitt. “No amount of money can break the bond between a president and his voters. He kept his promise.” In response to AFP Action's endorsement of Haley, MAGA, the super PAC partner Make America Great Again, said:
