The former Mets infielder will be headed to a fierce division rival.
Atlanta announced that Luis Guillorme, who was not offered by the Mets, has agreed to a one-year contract worth $1.1 million.
Guillaume joins a Braves team that acquired seven-time All-Star Chris Sale in a splashy deal with the Red Sox, who sent former infield prospect Vaughn Grissom to Boston.
Braves too Sale extended for 2 years and $38 million this week.
Guillaume, who spent six years in New York, will add depth to a Braves infield that returns NL All-Stars Ozzie Albies, Matt Olson, Austin Riley and Orlando Arcia.
A 10th round pick of the Mets in 2010, Guillaume played in 334 major league games and hit .261/.344/.333.
Last season, Guillorme batted .224 with nine RBIs in just 54 games while battling a calf injury.
Guillaume, 29, didn't have much power, but he played second base, third base and shortstop during his time in Flushing, building a reputation for his defensive prowess.
Per Baseball SavantHe had an above-average six outs in 2022, but received negative reviews on that front last season.

As a Met, Guillorme appeared in 147 games and posted a career batting average of .981 and fielding percentage of .996 as a second baseman, with only two errors.
In late November, the Mets signed versatile Joey Wendle to a one-year contract, likely filling Guillaume's utility role.
