Just-unsealed court documents show that the international model who committed suicide by jumping from the balcony of her Wall Street apartment was aboard convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein's jet as a teenager. There is.
Model Ruslana Korshunova (who modeled for Vera Wang, DKNY, and many other famous brands) died on June 28, 2008 at the age of 21. Police ruled her death a suicide, and there was evidence that she had slashed herself in the head. She pushed through a protective balcony screen and jumped to her death from the ninth floor of an apartment building in New York's financial district.
Now, recently unsealed documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case reveal that Korshunova took at least one flight on Epstein's infamous “Lolita Express” on June 7, 2006, when she was 18 years old. There is. new york post report.

The model's jet trip occurred weeks before Epstein's arrest for sexual misconduct in 2006. He was later convicted of having sex with an underage girl.
Korshunova was on a flight in June 2006 with Epstein, bodyguard Igor Zinoviev, personal chef Lance Calloway, assistant Sarah Kellen, a woman named Stephanie Tidwell, and an unidentified former UFC fighter. He was listed as a passenger.
It is unclear what happened to the young aspiring model after she arrived on Epstein's private Caribbean island. YIt was rumored that young girls were being exploited there by dozens of rich and famous figures.
The model didn't leave a note and apparently didn't tell anyone about her suicidal thoughts before her death, but investigators say she's connected to a group that helps her deal with repressed memories and past trauma. I discovered that they were working together. The nature of that trauma was never specified.
She told friends that she was homesick, considered quitting modeling, and had been losing weight in the weeks before her death.

Artem Perchenok, who met Korshunova hours before her death, said Korshunova “held” her problems, adding: “When things don't go well at work, she will take matters into her own hands.”
Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre, the woman at the center of the 2015 trial that sparked the now-unsealed documents, said she had no recollection of meeting Korshunova on the island.

“I am sorry to hear of Ruslana's death. My condolences go out to her family and friends,” Giuffre wrote in response to an email from her lawyer asking about Korshunova in 2011.
“I can say that I have never met her. I am sorry that it was of no use,” Giuffre concluded.
