The Tennessee Titans played spoiler-like in Week 18, defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars 28-20 at home on Sunday and eliminating them from the AFC playoffs.

The Jaguars' loss not only gives the AFC South title to the Houston Texans, who advanced to the playoffs with a win over the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday night, but also gives the Buffalo Bills a chance to play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. However, the play-action pass for third-and-goal sailed over the back of the end zone, giving the Jaguars a mandatory fourth-and-goal on the next play. Head coach Doug Pederson called for a quarterback sneak, and Lawrence jumped over the offensive line and attempted to hit the ball across the goal line.

But the Titans' defense stopped Lawrence before he could do so and snuffed it out.

The Jaguars had another chance to tie the game with two minutes left, but just four plays later they turned the ball over on downs.

Calvin Ridley, who took a touchdown pass from Lawrence early in the game, was open with two outs and second base, and nearly set up the Jags, but his diving attempt fell short.
