Illegals Have Less than 5% Chance of Being Deported Under Biden

Illegal aliens who arrive at the U.S. border have less than a 5 percent chance of being deported under President Joe Biden, data from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) shows.

Figures detailed in ICE's 2023 fiscal year report It shows that it is very unlikely that illegal aliens who entered the country under the Biden administration will be immediately deported from the United States.

In fiscal year 2023, more than 3.2 million illegal aliens were encountered at the border, but only 142,580 illegal aliens were deported by ICE agents during the same period. In fact, illegal aliens who arrived in the U.S. last year had only a 4.4% chance of being deported this year.

Lora Reese, director of the Heritage Foundation's Border Security and Immigration Center, disputed recent statements by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Claim The agency said it had deported a “record number of individuals” arriving at the U.S. border.

“Alejandro Mayorkas can't play it both ways,” Reese told Breitbart News. “He has already publicly acknowledged that he has released at least 70 percent of the more than 10 million illegal aliens encountered by Customs and Border Protection over the past three years.”

“Then he can't play himself as immigration enforcement chief based on deportation, especially when you scale the numbers,” Reese said. “The American people long ago stopped believing his lies.”

Similarly, as Breitbart News reported, very few illegal aliens are deported from the interior of the United States. These deportations are known as “internal displacement” because they target illegal aliens living across American communities and exclude people who have recently arrived at the U.S. border.

In fiscal year 2023, ICE agents deported fewer than 4,000 illegal aliens per month from the interior of the United States. Compare that number to former President Donald Trump's first three years in office, when ICE agents deported an average of 7,000 illegal aliens a month from the interior of the United States.

Illegal aliens were also far more likely to be deported under the Trump administration, as DHS removed 23 to 28 percent of its annual encounters with illegal aliens from the United States.

“President Trump defended American sovereignty and proudly enforced our laws,” RJ Howman, director of the National Immigration Enforcement Center (NICE), told Breitbart News.

“A country that does not properly deport illegal immigrants is no longer a country,” Hauman said. “Joe Biden is neglecting his duties as president.”
