Pink and Carey Hart are celebrating their 18th wedding anniversary together, but it almost never happened.
Musician, 44 years old hinted that the couple had a tough year Instagram post on sunday.
“Love is a lifelong journey to return to the table again. To be honest, we almost never made it to this. Well, some did. When I met you 22 years ago, I just wanted someone who wouldn't lie to me,” she captioned a nostalgic photo of the two of them.
“I knew nothing about commitment, building a life together, intimacy, and trust. It's hard. But I have to be humbled by the wonder of loyalty, history, forgiveness, and resilience. , well. How does love rearrange itself and reappear after a night or five vacancies?'' she continued.
“I'm proud to have made it to the other side of this year. I wear our scars with pride. You are my stubborn, beautiful, steadfast rock.”
The two met at the X Games in the summer of 2001. They briefly broke up in 2003, but reconciled a year later. Hart proposed at his lace in June 2005, and the couple tied the knot in January 2006 at the Four Seasons Resort in Costa Rica.
Pink and the former promoter cyclist, 48, have daughter Willow, 12, and son Jameson, 7.

“In the past 18 years of marriage to this wonderful human being, we have done so much together: raised two wonderful children, traveled the world, gone on adventures, loved, argued, and made up. “Say, support each other, laugh, cry, laugh more, break up, get back together, party, grieve, grow, and so much more,” he wrote.
