Trump backers release new ad in New Hampshire targeting Nikki Haley ‘criminals’ comment
A super PAC supporting Donald Trump for the Republican nomination released a new ad Monday attacking his 2024 rival Nikki Haley over comments he made about illegal immigration while governor of South Carolina.

Haley's campaign fired back Monday, saying Trump is “trying” to stop Haley's momentum and improve her position in the polls.
Consecutive polls by the same polling organization have found that Haley, 51, is within four points of President Trump in New Hampshire. Amid her rise, both MAGA and the Trump campaign have accelerated their attacks on the former South Carolina governor.
“At a time when Donald Trump was still a liberal supporting Hillary Clinton, Nikki Haley passed one of the toughest anti-illegal immigration laws in the country,” Nachama Soloveitchik, Haley's communications director, said in a statement.
