THIS most disturbing part Defense Secretary hospitalization

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin's three-day hospitalization was a closely guarded secret. In fact, security was so tight that the Pentagon did not alert President Joe Biden or Austin's second in command about his illness.

Austin was reportedly suffering from complications following an elective medical procedure.

“The president doesn't need to know, because he's not making the decisions,” Glenn Beck jokes.

Meanwhile, we are engaged in two wars at the same time.

“I believe the Iranians are still firing rockets at our ships. Has there ever been a time in the past seven days when someone thought, 'You know what?' Let’s call the Department of Defense,” Glenn says.

Austin was also admitted to the intensive care unit while the deputy secretary of defense, who was supposed to take over his duties as secretary of defense, was on vacation in Puerto Rico.

“So she was the acting secretary of defense for many days, and she didn't even know it,” Glenn says.

“It's almost understandable that they won't tell Biden, because they know he's out of luck. But why don't people at the Pentagon know?” Stu Bruguiere agrees and says:

Stu believes this speaks volumes about how dysfunctional our government is.

“Why don't we recognize that that statement is a big problem? In fact, the American people don't tell the president that the president of the United States is so out of it that the secretary of defense is in the ICU. Who are you in a position to think is normal?” Stu cries.
