After all the layoffs, hires are finally being made, and the Giants are in the market for several new assistants on Brian Daboll's coaching staff.
The Post confirmed that the offensive line coach position is open and Daboll will be interviewing former Raiders offensive line coach Carmen Bricillo.
The Giants are deep in the midst of a coaching change following the NFL's Black Monday firing scandal.
Daboll fired special teams coordinator Thomas McGaughey, offensive line coach Bobby Johnson, outside linebackers coach Drew Wilkins and defensive assistant Kevin Wilkins.
Daboll and the Giants are also awaiting formal announcement regarding defensive coordinator Wink Martindale's resignation.
This is an important hire for Daboll as the Giants look to repair a unit that recorded an NFL-high 85 sacks last season, given the offensive line's continued decline in performance.
Bricillo, 47, previously served as the offensive line coach on Bill Belichick's staff with the Patriots and was hired to replace legendary offensive line guru Dante Scarneccia, who retired after the 2019 season. He was one of two assistants.
Daboll and Bricillo share a relationship with Belichick but did not work together in New England.

The Raiders are interviewing for head coach and general manager vacancies and have given permission for Bricillo, a lateral transfer, to meet with the Giants.
Bricillo began his college coaching career at his alma mater Duquesne in 2005 after two years as a high school coach in Indiana.
