Elise Stefanik rakes in record fundraising haul in wake of antisemitism grilling

House Republican Speaker Elise Stefanik reported its best quarter for fundraising, shortly after a congressional hearing in which she criticized university presidents for their unwillingness to condemn anti-Semitism on campus, the Post reported. reported.

Stefanik announced Tuesday that he raised $5.2 million in the fourth quarter of 2024, breaking his previous fundraising record, according to documents reviewed by The Post.

The unabashed Trump supporter from upstate New York and the third-most powerful Republican in the House has raised more than $13 million to date for the 2024 election cycle.

She sent millions of dollars to the National Republican Congressional Committee.

“We are grateful for the historic support from long-time and first-time donors from across upstate New York and across the country,” Stefanik said of last quarter's fundraising efforts.

“It's clear the American people want leadership and results, and I'm committed to delivering both. To elect President Trump, increase the House Republican majority, and save America. This will be a great start to 2024 as we continue to work on this.”

In addition to securing 35,000 first-time donors, Stefanik also joined Blackstone Group co-founder and CEO Steve Schwartzman and the company's head of government relations, Wayne Berman. It also received donations from prominent Republican fundraisers such as Mr.

Other donors include David Friedman, former ambassador to Israel during the Trump administration. Laura Perlmutter is married to Palm Beach billionaire Ike Perlmutter. Vernon Hill, founder of Metro Bank, and Bruce Toll, co-founder of home construction company Toll Brothers.

Congressional hearings in December on anti-Semitism on campuses (which ultimately led to the ouster of the presidents of Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania) thrust Stefanik into even greater national attention.

Since the hearing, Stefanik has continued to vocally criticize the university's failure to confront anti-Semitism.

“We have to defund the corruption in American higher education,” Stefanik previously told the Post about the importance of ending donations to Ivy League schools.

Stefanik raised $13.4 million in the 2020 cycle and $9.2 million in 2022. according to Notification of election.

Some of her previous donors included Paul Singer, founder and co-CEO of Elliott Management. John Catsimatidis, founder and CEO of Red Apple Group, and Long Island billionaire Andy Sabin.

The Post previously reported that Stefanik launched a “battlefield fund” last year to boost Republicans in the eternally blue Empire State as the party looks to cling to gains from the last election.
