An illegal alien released into the United States as an unaccompanied alien child (UAC) has been charged with child sex crimes in his sanctuary jurisdiction of Fairfax County, Virginia.
A 21-year-old illegal immigrant from Honduras is the first arrested It was discovered by Border Patrol agents near Clint, Texas in January 2020 and classified as a UAC. Border Patrol agents issued him with a Notice to Appear to a Federal Immigration Judge (NTA) and released him to the Office of Refugee Resettlement in Kingston, New York.
The following month, the Office of Refugee Resettlement released him from custody and sent him to live with his father in Alexandria, Virginia.
In July 2023, the illegal alien was arrested in Fairfax County and charged with sexual knowledge of a 13- to 14-year-old child without force, possession of child sexual abuse material, and production of child sexual abuse material. It was done.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers immediately ordered the illegal alien into custody and requested local law enforcement to transfer the suspect to deportation proceedings.
Due to Fairfax County's protection policy, which protects illegal aliens who commit crimes from federal immigration law, ICE officials said their requests were ignored and the illegal aliens were released from jail.
“Fairfax County has refused to honor the honor of an ICE detainee who filed a complaint against this Honduran non-national,” ICE's Eric Weiss said in a statement. “When ICE detainees are ignored by local authorities, the public is put at risk.”
Last month, ICE agents located an illegal alien at his home in Springfield, Virginia. During the arrest, the illegal alien assaulted one of the ICE officers. He remains in ICE custody until deported.
