Hamas Hostage Crisis ‘Could Last a Lot Longer’

It has been nearly 100 days since Hamas terrorists invaded Israel on Oct. 7 and national security experts fear that the more than 100 people – including six Americans – who are still being held captive in Gaza could remain hostages “a lot longer.”

Since Israeli and Hamas leaders agreed to a temporary cease-fire between Nov. 24 and Dec. 1 for a hostage-prisoner exchange that saw 105 hostages freed and the release from Israeli prisons of 240 Palestinians, some with ties to terrorist activity, no additional hostages have been released.
