Washington Wizards guard Ryan Rollins has been removed from the team after being accused of shoplifting, a report said.
Mr. Rollins (21 years old) arrested He was charged in Virginia with seven counts of petty larceny for stealing items under $1,000. TMZ Sports reported that the charge is a misdemeanor.
However, he has been repeatedly accused of shoplifting, including two incidents in September, four in October, and one in November.

Rollins reportedly stole groceries, body wash, candles and other small items.
Now, according to Wizards president Michael Winger, Rollins has been fired. However, the executive did not discuss the issue specifically, saying only, “I cannot comment on the matter or the basis for the roster decision.''
“We take our role very seriously as representatives of the citizens of the DMV, our fans, and a team that our community can be proud of. These are expectations, not aspirations,” Winger added.
Rollins was selected by the Hawks in the second round of the 2022 NBA Draft and averaged 4.1 points and 1.1 assists per game for the Wizards this season. He joined Washington last year.
Rollins signed a contract for $1.7 million, fully guaranteed for the 2023-24 season. Of his $2 million annual salary for the 2024-35 season, $600,000 is also guaranteed.
Class 1 misdemeanor petty theft in Virginia is punishable by a fine of up to $2,500 and up to 12 months in prison.
