Living legend William Shatner tells the truth about how the “self-righteous” and “enlightened” people at Paramount are eliminating someone who is “blackmailed” by James Tiberius Kirk.
It all started when a fan on Xwitter asked the 92-year-old superstar what he thought about the news that Paramount+ was making the movie. Star Trek: The Next Generation Captain Jean-Luc Picard, starring Patrick Stewart, just finished its third season. Picard, next generation A spin-off of Paramount+.
Shatner politely replied, “I think Sir Patrick's new movie is great news.” Regarding online criticism of the Picard movies, Shatner added, “Haters hate.”

When an Xwitter user asked, “But will we ever see Captain Kirk again?” Shatner didn't throw a punch (or a flying kick). “To answer that question, all you have to do is look at the Paramount+ graphics,” he tweeted. Shatner's tweet was accompanied by a promotional photo from Paramount. star trek past. All captains except Shatner's Kirk (and other captains, including animated characters) are shown.
To answer that question, just look at the Paramount+ graphics. 😉 https://t.co/B4Rc9iUJGZ pic.twitter.com/uJEqIL7QZ7

“Has anyone at Paramount ever released an official description of this giant flub?” someone asked.
“This isn't the first time it's been going on for years,” Shatner responded. “It makes no difference to me that a group that considers themselves 'enlightened' (or whatever they think they are) clearly feels threatened by the character of Kirk. .”
“This is a character from a 1960s TV show. Don't do that.”
To prove this point, Shatner posted a promotional photo celebrating Star Trek Day, in which a less popular character takes center stage. Shatner Church is nowhere to be seen.
It's not the first time it's been going on for years. It makes no difference to me that a group that considers themselves “enlightened” (or so they think) are clearly threatened by the character of Kirk. It's a character from a 1960s TV show – stop it. 😉 https://t.co/0QLH8HBc2O pic.twitter.com/ZR3vevL0U9

Shatner Added:
It doesn't bother me at all. A bunch of self-righteous strangers who think they're sending a message by erasing their past? Who would forget? It's everywhere. It is so inculcated that it will take generations for anything they do to be forgotten. let it be.
That shouldn't bother Shatner. Because, given their sources, fascists are threatened by 1) Kirk's unapologetic masculinity, 2) Kirk's enduring popularity, and 3) Shatner's incredible success.
How many people can replicate William Shatner's success?
Shatner is…
- remained a star for 60 years
- went to space
- Starring in one of the most iconic movies twilight zone Episodes so far
- Winner of one Golden Globe Award and two Emmy Awards
- He headlined a hit film series for seven films. Star Trek Features
- Co-authored a hit series of science fiction novels
- Author of three best-selling memoirs
- Four hit TV series headlines
And here's a simple fact: Despite countless attempts, no results were obtained. Star Trek Movies and TV shows without William Shatner can touch the world's glory. Star Trek With William Shatner.
But in this near-dystopia, heroic, manly men like James Kirk and fearless speaking icons like William Shatner must be silenced, purged, and punished. . For the same reason that Indiana Jones is eviscerated, Luke Skywalker is branded a child murderer, and icon after icon is removed and replaced with affirmative action employment, Shatner's James Kirk is also erased. It must be.
Other than Muhammad Ali, the highest amount I've ever paid for an autograph is for Shatner. He's a one-of-a-kind character, and any sensible Hollywood would celebrate and even exploit him. In return, the neo-McCarthy factions are removed from office and purged.
I'm telling you to buy a hard copy of the classic. trekking. Do you want to live in a world where the same Paramount+ that is currently erasing Shatner is the only way to watch classic Trek? Trust me…
