Donald Trump Up 34 Points in Iowa Caucus

A new Insider Advantage poll released just days before the Iowa caucuses found former President Donald Trump with a 34 point lead in Iowa.

In the survey, Voted A survey of 850 people likely to attend the Iowa Republican caucuses found that Trump has a 51% majority in the Hawkeye State.

No other potential candidates came close, with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley tied for 34 points and 17 points each.

Anti-woke businessman Vivek Ramaswamy was 10 points behind with 7% support, while former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, who is campaigning throughout Iowa, had 0% support.

Another 8% remain undecided.

Notably, the survey does not include former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who withdrew from the race this week.

InsiderAdvantage's Matt Towery said Christie's absence “doesn't appear to have had a noticeable impact” on the survey results.

The survey was conducted on January 11th and has a margin of error of +/- 4.32%.

If Trump can maintain this 30+ lead in Iowa, as some polls suggest, considering no Republican candidate has won the Iowa caucuses by more than 12 points. It will be historic.

Iowa Attorney General Brenna Byrd (R), who supported Trump last year, is among those predicting a “historic” victory for Trump in the Hawkeye State, citing the enthusiasm across the state.

“I predict a historic caucus victory for President Trump,” she predicted. “The biggest Republican victory in the Iowa caucuses was 12 points all the way back in 1988.”

“That's a big win. Anything over 10 points really counts as a blowout,” she observed. “And right now President Trump has a lead of maybe 30 points. That's really incredible. It's unprecedented. It's historic.”
