Browns vs. Texans Wild Card player props, picks

The NFL playoffs are finally approaching.

This year, there will be player prop bets for each game leading up to the Super Bowl.

This weekend's games begin Saturday with the Browns vs. Texans in Houston.

BetRivers Sportsbook has this game at a total of 44.5, which is in the middle of the pack in terms of expectations for this weekend's six games.

Our player prop and pick record is 45 wins and 60 losses, with a profit of 42.6 units and an ROI of 40.06 percent.

Below, we break down the best player prop picks and bets ahead of Browns vs. Texans.

Browns vs. Texans player props and picks

Jerome Ford, 16.5+ receiving yards (-114, FanDuel) | 25+ (+155, Bet 365)

Ford has hit the over with this prop in two consecutive games, including four of the last six, and is a great bet to target in the passing game this weekend.

The Texans have struggled to stop opposing running backs in the passing game this season, ranking at the bottom of the league in receiving yards allowed to running backs.

Ford is in great position as a high-volume receiver with six games with at least five targets.

Notice how Ford moves aggressively even when quarterback Joe Flacco pushes the ball down the field.

CJ Stroud, 242.5 passing yards (-114, FanDuel) | Anytime touchdown (+550, FanDuel)

The Browns' defense is one of the best in the league, and CJ Stroud has cleared that mark 11 times in 15 games this season.

Cleveland allowed Trevor Siemian to throw for 261 yards on Dec. 28, and Stroud will have a good chance to surpass that number on Saturday.

Stroud is also a threat as a runner, and that aspect of his game is worth targeting as well.

The Browns have allowed five rushing touchdowns this season, tied for sixth-most in the NFL.

As the season progresses, Stroud has shown a desire to run. He has three rushing touchdowns in his last nine games.

And in a playoff game, he should be ready to jump for a touchdown at a moment's notice.
