The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) has endorsed former President Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential election.

On Thursday, organizers of the event, sponsored by the American Conservative Union, wrote to X that they support the 45 party.th president.
“#CPAC Support Donald Trump for President of the United States. “It's time to take back our country and our freedoms,” they wrote.
“Now is the time to come together and support the candidates who can best accomplish what it takes to get America back on track,” CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp told reporters.
“Far-left Marxists have infiltrated our colleges and universities, our elementary schools, our military, and in fact every sacred institution of our country,” Schlapp continued in the statement. “One man has once again clearly won the hearts of conservatives with his tireless efforts to make America great again, even as the state of our borders, economy, and culture worsens dramatically by the day.”
Trump also has the support of many House Republican leaders, including Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) and Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minnesota).
