NYC pedestrian fatally struck by pair of vehicles in horrifying hit-and-run in the Bronx

Horrifying surveillance footage shows the moment two vehicles fatally hit a pedestrian in a hit-and-run in the Bronx.

The 53-year-old woman was waiting to cross the intersection of Melrose Avenue and 157th Street around 7:15 p.m. when she was hit by a white SUV, New York City police confirmed.

Video shows she was forced into the air and struck a second gray Jeep Wrangler that was traveling in the opposite direction.

In the aftermath, a lifeless pedestrian can be seen lying on the pavement.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The white SUV that initially struck the pedestrian fled the scene and remains at large.

The 53-year-old male driver of the Jeep remained behind.

No arrests have been made.
