The Green Bay Packers' come-from-behind victory over the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Wild Card Round on Sunday night drew 40 million viewers, FOX Sports announced Monday.
The Packers won the game 48-32 and led 27-0 in the second quarter. Dallas scored before the end of the first half, but it was too little, too late. Still, FOX Sports had a big viewership.

“With 40 million viewers, Sunday's game between the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys will be @NFLonFOX's best performance in an NFL #wildcard game since 2015. 6pm ET 45 minutes to 7 p.m., peaking at 43.4 million people,” FOX said. Sports wrote to X.
“The number of streams is +20% higher than last year’s game (New York Giants vs. Minnesota Vikings), which aired in the same slot (33.2 million).”

FOX will have one NFC matchup on Saturday night. The Packers will travel to San Francisco to take on the top-seeded 49ers.
Jordan Love became the first Packers quarterback not Aaron Rodgers or Brett Favre to win a playoff game for Green Bay since Lynn Dickey did it against the St. Louis Cardinals in 1983.

The Packers became the first No. 7 seed to win a game since the playoffs were expanded to include seven teams from each conference four years ago.
