‘We want to Make America Great Again’

Exclusive: Former President Trump says he is “emboldened” and “very honored” by winning the 2024 Iowa caucuses and feels “strong” for our country, Fox News told Digital.

Shortly after the Fox News Decision Desk predicted Trump to win the Iowa caucuses, Fox News Digital exclusively interviewed the former president and 2024 Republican front-runner.

Trump won most of the state's 40 delegates in the nation's first primary. This result solidified his status as the front-runner for the Republican nomination.

“I feel great,” President Trump told Fox News Digital. “We are very honored to be approached at such an early stage.”

“It was a real honor to be announced a few minutes later that I won against a very credible competitor, in fact, a great competition,” Trump said.

He added: “It's a tremendous event and a tremendous emotion.”

“We have to take our country back,” he told FOX News Digital. “Our country has been through so much bad over the past three years, and bad things continue to happen.”

President Trump pointed to the Middle East conflict and “Israel's attacks.”

“I feel really encouraged and strong for our country,” he told Fox News Digital. “We want to make America great again, the greatest slogan of all time, and in fact, that’s what we did.”

President Trump touted the successes of his administration, citing America's energy independence, rebuilding the US military, and the “best economy in history” since taking office.

“We're going to do it all again in a heartbeat,” he said. “We're going to fix our borders, and we're going to do it quickly.”
