MSNBC co-host Lawrence O'Donnell said during his network's broadcast of the Iowa caucuses that Republican 2024 presidential candidate former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-South Carolina) was born to immigrants from India. He said that he could not be elected because of this.
O'Donnell said, “The worst thing we've learned about the Republican primary electors is yet to be included in tonight's admissions ballot question. CBS Poll, the last poll before the Iowa caucuses. He added, “This means 81% of Republican primary voters believe Nikki Haley is poisoning the blood and poisoning the blood of America.” Therefore, it is impossible for Nikki Haley to be an obstacle. But it also shows you what you're up against in any kind of campaign against such voters, it's impossible for such voters to convert to anything other than Trump's worldview. No campaign ads, no speeches. There are no Republicans that Chris Christie might be able to convince some of them to be. Not them. None of the 81% apply. Not one of them can be converted. ”
