British oil company Shell has reportedly suspended all shipping through the Red Sea indefinitely amid continued Houthi attacks from Yemen on commercial ships on the vital global trade route.
The suspension was first reported by The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday, citing anonymous sources.
FOX Business reached out to Shell's Americas office on Tuesday, but there was no immediate response, and the Journal reported that the company declined to comment on the matter.
The move comes after BP suspended shipments via the Red Sea last week, and Qatar Energy also suspended liquefied natural gas exports this week.
