The end of your career is a great time to remember all the people who have helped you along the way. The coach who helped you improve, the trainer who kept you healthy, even the McDonald's employee who made your bacon, eggs, and cheese piping hot every morning.
Legendary Eagles center Jason Kelce is calling this a career, and it started Wednesday with a special visit with someone he's known over the years.
Daniel Bonham is a cashier at Kelsey's local McDonald's, and the two have had a long-standing relationship. Most people don't pay much attention to the fast food worker who calls them in the morning, but to Kelce she meant so much more.
So Kelce went to the drive-thru as part of his morning job and dropped off an autographed Eagles jersey that read, “To Daniel, Gobers!” thank you! “It has his signature on it.
Now, this is probably a pretty small act for Kelce, but it's a big deal for people who are often overlooked in their daily lives. He salutes Jason for thinking of everyone and congratulates Daniel on receiving a gift he will cherish forever.
