Pennsylvania House Democrats on Wednesday advanced a ban on “assault weapons” and the purchase, possession and sale of gun parts without serial numbers.
Democrats also pushed legislation that would “ban accelerated trigger actuation devices that increase the rate of fire” and “subject 3D-printed firearms to the same regulations as standard firearms,” the Associated Press reported. report.

All four bills were considered by the House Judiciary Committee.
Even if gun control passes in the evenly divided House, the chances of it surviving in Pennsylvania's Republican-controlled Senate are slim. There are 101 Democrats and 101 Republicans in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
