It's always tough being a fan of a terrible NBA team. You quickly realize there is no purpose to play for, and you will be left tormented for months while other teams achieve their dreams.
It's a whole new look for the Pistons, who are now halfway through the season with a dismal 4-37 record. Fans have a few options at this point. Either we cancel the show all together and forget about this season, we endure this season and try to find the positives, or we make increasingly ridiculous and often illegal plans for the Pistons. It is. We will take advantage of this in the second half of the season.
On Reddit, the folks at r/Pistons are firmly in the criminal camp.
The whole submarine thing has developed into a frankly psychotic idea. Obviously they're joking, but just to give you an idea of what's going on here.
The Pistons should try breaking people's arms.
You could call it a hunch, but I have a feeling that a player who starts randomly attacking opponents for no other reason than to try to cause injury might be permanently banned from the NBA. Also, if the league finds out that the team has orchestrated it, they will lose multiple picks.
I mean, that's the worst thing that can happen.
The Pistons should do a ton of drugs.
This is even more illegal than the last suggestion.
Why not… become a Nazi?
If you say, “I'm not a Nazi, but I have a lot of Nazi flags and posters that I can take with me,” there's a lot to unpack.
Sir, I think you might be a Nazi.
How about a show tune with a happy ending?
You know, I think I actually support this. At least it's more interesting than the Pistons.
