In the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 16, the woman is said to have been traveling on Sky Harbor Road at Millerton Road. As is common in California's Great Central Valley, there was heavy fog in the area.
This situation appears to have made it difficult for the woman to see the stop sign. Well, that and her speed were also a factor.
She crashed through a stop sign and launched her car 40 feet above the golf course's eighth green. It's just a scene from a movie.
Fortunately, the intersection was safe and the woman suffered only minor injuries.
