California Democratic Representatives Ted Lieu and Adam Schiff are pushing a bill that would ban the sale and use of glue traps to capture rodents.
“Glue traps are cruel and inhumane and can pose a health risk to humans and pets,” Liu said, according to the Information newspaper. press release. “There are many other ways to capture small animals without prolonging their suffering. A press release indicates Schiff is an original co-sponsor. He is currently running for the United States Senate.
