Kevin Costner celebrated his 69th birthday Thursday with a throwback photo taken decades ago.
The snap showed the former 'Yellowstone' star wearing a cowboy hat and a smile spread across his face.
“Today I want to celebrate another year and pay tribute to this kid who had big dreams. It's hard to believe we've come this far,” he said. captioned an instagram post.
“Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. It's because of your support that I was able to pursue my dreams for so many years.”
Costner's tribute to himself comes after ex-wife Christine Baumgartner made headlines for splitting from her former neighbor and friend Josh Conner.
Over the summer, the handbag designer, 49, and the investor vacationed in Hawaii, sparking rumors that the two were romantically involved.
However, Baumgartner and her attorney denied dating Conner in court after the “Field of Dreams” star claimed she was given $20,000 in cash by Conner's new “boyfriend.”
“They have been good friends for years,” a source also said of Baumgartner and Connor's connection.
Costner and Baumgartner have three children and finally settled their divorce in September.
News that her friendship with former model Conor had turned into a romantic relationship broke last week, but a source insists to People that their relationship was initially platonic.
“Josh was just a friend at first,” a friend of Baumgartner's told the magazine.
“[Christine] I like being with him. He is her divorced father and understands what she has been through. ”
According to the report, Baumgartner and Connor bonded over “life on the ocean and beaches.”

“That's what makes Christine happy,” the friend added.
The “Mr. Brooks” actor is reportedly dating singer Jewel.
“They were flirtatious. And when they were together, it was like they both lit up,” a source tells TMZ, a source for the Grammy Award winner's Tennis Foundation for Inspiration Children Foundation. The couple spoke about their trip to the British Virgin Islands in December as part of a fundraising campaign.
“I know they're trying to keep a low profile, but anyone who sees them can tell something is going on,” another source added.
